ABOUT TRANSFORMATION JACKSONVILLE

HISTORY

TJAX (or Transform Jacksonville and NE Florida dba Transformation Jacksonville) was formally incorporated in 2009, yet stands on the shoulders of Jacksonville Pastors and Christian Leaders Fellowship. Years of pastoral fellowship, prayer, and accountability blending with an intermittent marketplace ministry focus has led to a resulting ministry platform where the two now work in tandem to help facilitate the whole church taking the whole gospel to the whole city.

TJAX hosts daily, weekly, monthly and annual events and strategies to help facilitate a unifying movement that demonstrates God’s love for our city. TJAX - so that every person in Jacksonville has the opportunity to be authentically loved… by at least one follower of Jesus Christ.

Tom McLeod

Tom grew up in Dallas the son of a lawyer. He also has some experience with law enforcement. (Book a call to hear the story.) During this time he realized he was called to the mission field, but that was put on hold. After several careers and then marriage to Roxie, he answered his calling to the mission field which ended up being right here in the First Coast. They were led to partner with Go To Nations and were heading to Eastern Asia when they realized the mission field was in their own Jerusalem. Tom became the executive director of TJAX in 2015 and over the years has worked with leadership programs including C12, Lifework Leadership, Colson Fellows, and Wise Counsel to name a few. Tom and Roxie also helped create the Panama Park Community Development Corporation in their very own neighborhood. The McLeods son, Troupe is married to Kylie and they live in Texas, while their daughter, Amazing Grace is here home-schooling.

Dennis Owen

Dennis is the Board Chairman of Transformation Jacksonville and has been a loyal supporter of Transformation Jacksonville for over 14 years. Although Dennis and his wife, Adrienne live in Kentucky where grandchildren abound, Dennis still has a heart for Jacksonville and keeps the TJAX facebook full of relevant articles. Dennis has a background in legal counsel and has proven invaluable to Transformation Jacksonville as it has morphed into the ministry it is today.

Stefanie has been on the board of Transformation Jacksonville for over 7 years. She heads up her own ministry, Here2There Ministries, which seeks to help close the gap between churches and missionaries. She and her husband, Bryan consider themselves full time missionaries themselves as they seek to be a resource and support for the church to intentionally raise up, send out and partner with their people who are serving locally, nationally and globally. Sometimes this takes them to many countries around the globe. They serve closely along side their parents and a team that create strategic partnerships between the church and their missionaries with the purpose of making disciples of all nations.

Stefanie Nicholson

...that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
